We are not done with using animals that help you achieve total relaxation and better skin. Let’s talk about fish! Soaking your feet in water is a very old tradition. It helps you relax. Now, imagine that the water you use for your feet is swarming with fish that are ready to turn your feet into a dinner table. Originating in Turkey, this tradition involves using fish to bite off all of the dead skin off your feet.

The shelves of the shops are full of products that help you get rid of dead skin, but some people might have not gotten the memo. This practice has not really translated into Western culture since sanitation standards are incredibly high. Also, the fish cannot be reused.

At first, the Vampire facial may sound just like the leech treatment. Except in this case it’s not a leech – it’s a person with sharp teeth. However, this is not the case. In this therapy, you are using your own blood to help different parts of your body. The origin of the practice is unknown, but in the image-obsessed city of Miami, Florida, it is very popular. Even Kim Kardashian gave it a try. During the Vampire facial, blood is collected from your arm through an IV and is then separated from the plasma.

The blood that is left, could go toward saving lives, but this $1,500 treatment adds Juvederm to your blood and you get it shot back into your face. This is not just one big injection straight into the forehead. The blood is dispersed into multiple spots. Why? The Juvederm-filled blood is supposed to rejuvenate the skin. Of course, while rejuvenating your skin, it also leaves you looking like someone who just got into a serious street fight.
