It’s not so easy to describe what are the technical requirements for being a Supermodel.
Some may say that a model becomes a Supermodel when they reach a celebrity status, others say that the title comes after you’ve walked international runways and your portfolio includes fashion names that are kind of know even for your 75-yar-old neighbor.
It may also be said that to be a Supermodel you have to be much more than a model. Let’s remember such names as Heidi, Naomi, Cindi, Gisele, Claudia, Tyra, and Christie. They all expand their careers into various directions in order to become something special in the fashion world and beyond.
However, these days supermodels keep getting younger and younger. Here are 9 of the youngest supermodels on the planet.
Karlie Kloss (Born: August 1992)
Karlie Kloss, who is a native of Midwest, has done quite a lot of work for someone who’s only 22. Her impressive resume includes not only her being ranked as one of the top 30 models by Vogue Paris, but also being aVictoria’s Secret Angel from 2013to 2015. Karlie was noticed at a local benefit and soon enough, she was modeling for Abercrombie kids and walking 31 runways at New York Fashion Week.
Katie Fogarty (Born: August 1992)
Even though she’s the model who tripped on the Prada show stage in 2008, Katie is another young supermodel from the Midwest. 2008 was actually a great ear for her dine she got signed to a major modeling agency and debuted on major runways in New York and Milan. In 2009, she walked the runway for Oscar de la Renta, Dolce & Gabbana, and DKNY. Quite impressive!
