Help Little Asher To Be The Next OshKosh B'Gosh Kid!
Asher Nash is ready for his close-up!
When Asher's mom submitted his adorable and charming head-shots to a casting call, she got a response that was less than positive. A representative told Meagan Richter Nash that they hadn't 'requested a special needs baby.'
She shared these adorable pictures of her 16-month-old son and, in less than a week, received over 59,000 likes and 79,000 shares on Facebook.
"Children with Down syndrome and other disabilities are incredible human beings, and we want OshKosh to want to help change the world's perception," Meagan told The Mighty. "I would love for OshKosh to meet my son and see what we see in him."
About a month ago, Asher's picture was chosen out of hundreds of submissions to play on the Jumbotron in Times Square, New York before the New York City Buddy Walk. The Buddy Walk is a march to promote acceptance and inclusion of people with Down syndrome.
This little guy certainly is photogenic!
