Rock Hudson became famous in the 50s. He was one of the most popular Hollywood’s leading men. Everyone adored him in all those romantic comedies like ‘Pillow Talk’ with Doris Day. He did more than 70 films over the course of his career. While Hudson dated many high-profile women, he was known to be secretly gay. His friend Carol Burnett confirmed it. However, his agent managed to keep it secret from the public eye. Hudson died from AIDS in 1985.

Richard Chamberlain is known for his performances on Broadway and in classical theater. His career blossomed during the 50s and 60s. His best known role is in a show called ‘Dr.Kildare’ as well as in ‘The Thorn Birds’. Chamberlain joined a civil union with his partner in 1977. They lived in Hawaii from 1986 to 2010. Even though he didn’t come out of the closed until 2010, he was rumored to be gay due to his few female companions.
