Deep sea is the lowest part of the ocean it measures a depth of at least 1, 800 meters.
It’s quite a mystical place, there is no or very little light that penetrates in this layer, for a very long time, it was thought that no life could exist there.
However, this belief is contradictory to the fact, and we mean an actual fact, that life in the deepest sea really thrives.
This makes the ocean even more interesting and more mysterious than many people say. Recently several creatures of the deep sea were discovered and frightened people with their peculiar looks!

Marine Hatchet Fish
Make sure not to confuse this fish with freshwater hatchet fish since they are not related. This one can be found in the Indian, Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. They’re 2.8 cm-12 cm large and have an odd body shape, their scales are silvery, their mouth is places at the tip of the snout and coordinated straight downwards. Long story short, that’s one strange fish indeed!
Frilled Shark (Chlamydoselachus anguineus)
Look for this shark in the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. It has a broad and flattened head, rounded snout. It will also charm you with its large eyes, a length which can reach up to 2 meters. The shark is brown with an eel like body type, the dorsal, pelvic, and anal fins are placed far back. Kind reminds you of a weird dinosaur, right?
